John Modica
Chief Technology Officer
John Modica joined Aurelius in May 2011. Before joining Aurelius, Mr. Modica spent five years as the Chief Technology Officer at Sandell Asset Management. Prior to Sandell, John spent six years as a Systems Operations Manager at Goldman Sachs. Before that, he spent four years Cantor Fitzgerald, first as a Senior Programmer and later as a Trading Support Manager. For the two years prior, John was a Senior Programmer/Analyst at First Empire Securities. Mr. Modica began his career as a Communications Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force where he spent four years. Mr. Modica holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Dowling College.
